Rusty Nuts Constitution
1. Name
The organization shall be known as the Rusty Nuts Club.
2. Purpose
The purpose of the club is to:
- Celebrate and preserve classis, vintage and specialty vehicles
- Provide social opportunities for members through events, cruises and activities
- Promote safe and responsible vehicle ownership
- Support local community initiatives
- encourage and invest in youth pursuing automotive education
- Foster a friendly, inclusive, and family-oriented environment
3. Membership
Membership is open to anyone who:
- Has an interest in classis or specialty vehicles
- Supports to club’s values
- Pays the annual membership fee
- Participartes in good spirit
All members are treated with respect, regardless of expeerience, expertise Membershp is open to anyone who:
4. Executive Committee
The club’s general operations may be overseen an Executive, typically consisting of:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Event Coordinator(s)
- Committee roles may change as the club evolves
5. Meetings
- Club meetings may be held on a monthly or seasonal basis
- Meeting schedules, agendas and minutes will be communicated to members
6. Events
The club organizes and participates in:
- Car shows and show ‘n shine drives
- Cruises and community drives
- Fundraiswers and charity events
- Educational outreach
- Social gatherings and workshops
- All events aim to promote club spirit and community involvement
7. Bursary Program
The Rusty Nuts Car Club provides an annual $1,000 bursary to a graduating student from local senior high school Automotive Technology programs who demonstrates:
- Skill and dedication
- Interest in automotive or trade careers
- Positive attitude and community involvement
- Receipients are selected in partnership with partucipating schools
8. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to:
- Treat each other respectfully
- Represent the club positively at events
- Promote safety and responsibility
- Help build a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
9. Amendments
The Constitution may be amended by the membership through a simple vote during a club meeting
